Fire, Ice, and everything between!

Well we have been working at preparing our place for this spring with are farmers' market plans. We are preparing to get two bee hives and begin keeping bees to sell honey. Thanks to a friend I am able to learn how to manage these amaising little creatures. He has also set me up with plans on how to build my own hives and save about $140 a hive.

We have been clearing the property to prepare it for our Chickens, Rabbits and all the crops we plan to sell.

We got about an inch of Ice last week and then it snowed last night (02-19-08) and in between we had 50 degree weather. Its been a ride but its been fun.

Just a little Home made Panorama from three pictures. Hopefully you can see what I am trying to show. To the Right is the market vegitable plot, the center plot is the Sweet Corn and Green beans and peas, and to the left is one full row and part of another (not finished) for strawberries. Next to those will be then the Rabbitry and next to that will be the Chicken coupe. Click on the picture for a better view.

Here is a layout I hope to have after a few years of working on this project. If you notice the house is not where it is now...I hope to sell the trailer and build a small 24x36 house. Again Click to see larger view.
I have a new fiddle video I thought I would post also. One of my favorite new tunes, Run Johnny Run (thats not its original title, the original one is racially inappropriate).
